Duane's Antique Market has a wonderful selection of fine antique furniture
and bric-a-brac from all over the world. With a large well-lit, heated showroom
and new stock arriving weekly, we are capable of providing for all your furniture needs.  Besides our 6,000 square foot warehouse, we have numerous 40' containers for excess stock.

We have, through the years, helped to furnish not only many homes but also many businesses with antiques. Nordstrom's Department store acquired millions of dollars worth of fine antiques from us in the 70's.  We have also helped many hotels, restaurants, drinking establishments, bed & breakfasts, and doctors and attorneys to acquire the items which have set them apart from their competitors by adding to their décor with the warmth of beautiful well-aged antique furniture.

Duane's Antique Market not only sells antique furniture but also restores it. We have built one of the best restoration facilities in Alaska.  Though we mostly restore our own stock, we also accommodate customers in restorations. Mr. Hill has also been actively appraising goods for over 20 years.  He is a member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).  He has completed 3 courses covering the following:
             Appraisal principles and business practices.
             Appraisal ethics, report writing standards, uniform standards of professional appraisal practice, identification and authentication, market and value research and analysis, and legal issues.
             Appraisals report writing.
Mr. Hill has also taken advanced courses, one of which included heavy equipment.  He is also a Certified Appraisers Guild of America (CAGA) Certified Appraiser.  All appraisals are done using government recognized Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
